However, it is important to know that no cellular signal booster can help in a situation where there is no cellular signal.

Design and features
The main unit of The hiboost 4K Plus signal amplifier is quite heavy. The rear outer chassis is made of aluminum and serves as a heat sink for the device. The front of the device is made of glossy plastic with a built-in LCD backlit display.
The three buttons of the device allow the user to navigate through the screens that indicate the strength of the antenna signal and increase or reduce the gain of the antenna. The LCD display shows real-time signal updates and displays information needed for troubleshooting.
The Band column shows the working frequency bands on which the booster operates. The UL and DL columns show the uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) gain in real time. The power supply column displays the real-time downlink power that the cell phone signal booster delivers to the indoor antenna port.
There are also three LED lights on the front of the device on the left side of the screen that provide basic status feedback on the booster. The alarm LED indicates whether the device is working properly or not. The power LED indicates whether the device is connected to a working power source. The ISO LED lets the user know if there is a feedback or vibration problem that can affect the performance of the device. The oscillation occurs when the signals of the inner and outer antennas interfere with each other.
The top of the device has connectors for connecting the outdoor antenna, power supply and two optional indoor antennas. The instructions do not mention the use of the USB port. The device itself has a built-in indoor antenna, which covers from 1,000 to 4,000 square meters.
There is a lot to do before using The hiboost 4K Plus signal amplifier. The first most difficult task is to mount the outdoor antenna.
The antenna has external screws that are attached to the included mounting hardware. The antenna must be mounted on the roof of the house or building in which the device will be installed.
There are two ways to find the optimal placement for the outdoor antenna. One method is to download and use the hiboost Signal Supervisor app, which will show you the strongest signal when you move the antenna. The Signal Supervisor app also allows you to connect the main device to your WiFi so that you can monitor the signal strength remotely and the app can connect your mobile phone to the device via Bluetooth to help you set it up as well.
Depending on the external signal conditions, the hiboost 4K Plus signal amplifier should cover between 1,000 and 4,000 square feet. Not surprisingly, I found that the device worked very well to amplify the signal in my 600 square meter apartment. The cellular signals in my building are notoriously weak and the second time the hiboost 4K Plus signal booster has been powered to my signal strength has increased significantly.
The hiboost Signal Supervisor app showed that the signals for the different cell bands were all amplified in the “super” range.
The hiboost 4K Plus signal booster is really effective at amplifying cellular signals in areas where these signals are weak. The configuration, especially the placement of the antenna, may take a little time, but once everything is up and running, the device will work properly. Although the price of may seem high, it’s a good deal when it comes to eliminating the frustration of not being able to use your mobile phone effectively at home or at work due to low signal strength.
